1 thin onion slice

1 quart freshly squeezed orange juice

hot sauce

or to taste

salt to taste

¼ cup pomegranate juice

Pour lime juice into a glass container and add onion slice; let sit until flavors combine 20 to 30 minutes. Remove and discard onion.
