1 large onion

thinly sliced

2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil

1 tablespoon parsley flakes

1 teaspoon dried basil leaves

½ teaspoon sea salt

¼ teaspoon garlic powder

coarsely ground black pepper to taste
