This cocktail was invented in May 2013 in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. Its name, ingredients, and colour are inspired by the eponymous Ikea® product. The recipe is the outcome of a rhetorical question posed while assembling Ikea® furniture 'If the Lekman were a drink, what would be in it?.'

Lekman Cocktail
5 fluid ounces lingonberry juice
1 ½ fluid ounces vodka (such as Absolut®)
½ fluid ounce blue Curacao liqueur
1 cup ice or as needed
1 sour key candy
Drinks Step 1 Pour lingonberry juice vodka and blue Curacao into a cocktail shaker. Add ice; shake. Pour into a lowball glass. Garnish with sour key candy.
