Lemon and Mustard Dipping Sauce for Artichokes

1 ½ cups chicken broth
2 tablespoons lemon juice
2 teaspoons prepared mustard
1 pinch garlic powder
black pepper to taste
2 tablespoons cornstarch
¼ cup water
Appetizer and Snack Step 1 Pour broth and lemon juice into a saucepan and set over high heat. Stir in mustard garlic powder and black pepper. Bring to a boil. Step 2 In a small bowl stir together cornstarch and water. Pour into boiling mixture and stir well. Reduce heat to medium and simmer until sauce thickens.
