Malulein's Exquisite Noodles

Ingredients

½ cup orange juice

1 (3 ounce) package chicken-flavored ramen noodles

3 large grape leaves

¼ onion

cut into large chunks

3 tablespoons soy sauce

3 tablespoons coconut-flavored rum

2 tablespoons Syrian zaatar

1 tablespoon sesame oil

1 ½ teaspoons red pepper flakes

1 teaspoon barbeque sauce

or to taste

2 garlic cloves

minced

1 small chicken bouillon cube (such as Maggi®)

water

to cover

Directions

Step 1

Stir orange juice ramen noodles and flavoring from packet grape leaves onion soy sauce rum zaatar sesame oil red pepper flakes barbeque sauce garlic cloves and bouillon cube together in a saucepan. Pour enough water over the mixture to cover.

Step 2

Bring the mixture to a boil and cook until the water reduces to a point where it no longer covers the ingredients about 10 minutes.
