1 tablespoon dashi granules
¼ cup mirin (Japanese sweet wine)
2 tablespoons soy sauce

Directions
In a small saucepan bring water to a boil. Stir in dashi and cook for 2 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in mirin and soy sauce.
