Family Banana Nut Bread Recipe

Ingredients

1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese

softened

1 cup white sugar

½ cup butter

2 eggs

well-beaten

2 ripe bananas

mashed

2 ¼ cups all-purpose flour

1 ½ teaspoons baking powder

½ teaspoon baking soda

1 cup chopped walnuts

Step 1

Preheat an oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan.

Step 2

Beat together the cream cheese sugar butter eggs and banana in a large bowl until very smooth. Stir in the flour baking powder baking soda and walnuts until just combined. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.

Step 3

Bake in the preheated oven until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean about 1 hour and 15 minutes. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes before removing to cool completely on a wire rack.
