Mint has a sweetness of its own, but a little sugar would be okay, if the diner had a desire for extra sweetness - no more that 1/2 teaspoon. Cider or malt vinegar can be used for the vinegar if you prefer. This sauce is traditionally served with lamb.

Mint Sauce Recipe

Ingredients

1 tablespoon minced fresh mint leaves

¼ cup red wine vinegar

Mommy's Lemonade (Margaritas)

Step 1

In a small bowl stir together mint leaves and cider vinegar. Let stand for 10 minutes before using to blend flavors.
