Slow Cooker Chipotle Chicken

Ingredients

4 skinless

boneless chicken breast halves

1 tablespoon adobo sauce from chipotle peppers

or more to taste

1 teaspoon ground cumin

½ teaspoon garlic powder

salt and ground black pepper to taste

4 chipotle peppers in adobo sauce

or more to taste

Directions

Step 1

Brush each chicken breast with adobo sauce. Season both sides with cumin garlic powder salt and pepper. Cut chipotle peppers once exposing seeds.

Step 2

Layer chicken breasts and peppers in a slow cooker. Cover and cook on High until chicken is very tender and no longer pink in the center 4 to 5 hours.
