Ground Turkey Burritos Recipe

Ingredients

1 (16 ounce) package ground turkey

salt and ground black pepper to taste

1 (15 ounce) can black beans

1 (10 ounce) can diced tomatoes and green chiles (such as RO*TEL®)

1 tablespoon cooking oil

or as needed

10 (8 inch) flour tortillas (such as Mission®)

1 (16 ounce) package shredded Cheddar cheese

Directions

Step 1

Brown turkey in a skillet over medium heat until no longer pink 5 to 7 minutes. Season with salt and pepper; drain and discard any excess grease. Add black beans and diced tomatoes; cook until warm about 5 minutes. Reduce heat to low.

Step 2

Preheat the oven to 300 degrees F (150 degrees C).

Step 3

Warm cooking oil in a skillet over low heat. Heat tortillas 1 at a time about 1 minute each. Fill with turkey mixture and top with cheese. Place burritos on a baking sheet.

Step 4

Bake in the preheated oven until cheese melts about 5 minutes.
