Sauteed Cajun Shrimp Verde Recipe

Ingredients

¼ cup light olive oil

5 cloves garlic

chopped

½ cup chopped scallions

⅓ cup chopped fresh parsley

1 ½ pounds jumbo shrimp

peeled and deveined

1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning

½ teaspoon ground cumin

½ teaspoon cayenne pepper

½ lime

juiced

½ cup cilantro

chopped

2 tablespoons butter

Step 1

Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add garlic scallions and parsley. Cook and stir for 3 minutes. Add shrimp Cajun seasoning cumin and cayenne pepper. Cook and stir until shrimp are no longer translucent 5 to 7 minutes. Remove from heat and toss in lime juice cilantro and butter.
