Spaghetti Sauce from the Slow Cooker Recipe

Ingredients

1 ½ pounds ground beef

1 (14.5 ounce) can diced tomatoes

½ cup chopped onion

1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste

1 tablespoon white sugar

1 tablespoon Parmesan cheese

1 clove garlic

minced

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon oregano

½ teaspoon anise seed

1 bay leaf

Step 1

Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook and stir beef in the hot skillet until browned and crumbly 5 to 7 minutes; drain and discard grease.

Step 2

Stir beef diced tomatoes onion tomato paste sugar Parmesan cheese garlic salt oregano anise seed and bay leaf together in a slow cooker.

Step 3

Cook on Low for 6 to 8 hours.
