Homemade Green Enchilada Sauce

Ingredients

1 (16 ounce) can tomato sauce

1 (4 ounce) can chopped green chilies

undrained

1 medium onion

chopped

2 teaspoons chili powder

1 teaspoon ground cumin

½ teaspoon minced garlic

¼ teaspoon dried oregano

Step 1

Place tomato sauce green chilies onion chili powder cumin garlic and oregano in a blender. Puree until smooth.

Step 2

Pour sauce into a saucepan. Cook over medium heat until heated through about 5 minutes.
