Spicy Garlic Grilled Shrimp Recipe

Ingredients

2 pounds uncooked medium shrimp

peeled and deveined

3 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil

3 tablespoons lemon juice

1 ½ tablespoons cayenne pepper

4 cloves garlic

minced

½ teaspoon salt

2 tablespoons melted butter

Step 1

Mix shrimp olive oil lemon juice cayenne pepper garlic and salt together in a bowl. Cover and allow to sit in a refrigerator to marry flavors at least 4 hours.

Step 2

Preheat an outdoor grill for medium-high heat and lightly oil the grate.

Step 3

Place shrimp on skewers. Discard excess marinade.

Step 4

Grill shrimp until they are bright pink on the outside and meat is opaque basting with melted butter frequently about 1 1/2 minutes per side.
