Salad Dressing - Side Dish
Maui or Sweet Vidalia onions create a creamy sweet vinaigrette.

Maui Onion Dressing

½ cup chopped Maui or other sweet onion
1 clove garlic
¼ cup papaya seeds
⅔ cup white sugar
1 teaspoon dry mustard
¼ cup lemon juice
⅓ cup apple cider vinegar
1 tablespoon mayonnaise
1 cup vegetable oil
Side Dish Step 1 Combine the onion garlic and papaya seeds in the container of a blender or food processor. Blend until smooth. Add the sugar mustard lemon juice vinegar and mayonnaise; puree until blended in. Set to low speed and pour in the vegetable oil in a thin stream. Chill and serve with fresh salad greens.
