Big Ray's Spicy Drunken Shrimp Recipe

Ingredients

1 (12 fluid ounce) can or bottle IPA beer

3 green onions

sliced

2 cloves garlic

chopped

1 teaspoon red pepper flakes

or to taste

1 bay leaf

or more to taste

1 pound raw shrimp

peeled and deveined

salt and ground black pepper to taste

1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley

or to taste

Step 1

Combine beer green onions garlic red pepper flakes and bay leaf in a large saucepan; bring to a boil. Cook stirring occasionally until sauce is reduced by half 5 to 10 minutes.

Step 2

Stir shrimp into the sauce; cook until pink 3 to 4 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. Garnish shrimp with parsley.
